Upon learning that Max had been so persistent in waiting just to find that ring, Clara couldn’t hold back her tears. She immediately got in her car and rushed over. She thanked the kind-hearted Mrs. Henderson and Dave, then happily took Max with her. Max was equally excited—he circled around Clara repeatedly, his tail wagging so fast it looked like a spinning propeller.
